Vacuum cleaning method is considered as a light cleaning which will be used when the fan coil can be easily cleaned and not as contaminated. Heavy cleaning which would be our chemical aircon cleaning method is a way to do a thorough clean for the fan coil when it is heavily covered with stagnant and stubborn dirt. During a vacuum clean, our technicians would remove the motor and blower assemblies for the ac unit to be cleaned. Then a brush will be used to clean the air face between fins before following with the vacuum suction. This method is easier and beneficial to your health safety, you would not need to worry about the effects from the chemical. It helps to remove solid dirt and dust by 70% allowing a more productive air con for your rooms. However, vacuum method is unable to get rid of stubborn stains which might create a disgusting odor if left untreated. There are also many deep areas which the vacuum method is unable to cover. Thus, it is required for a more powerful cleaning method.
Chemical Aircon Cleaning
For ac cleaning, the chemicals can be group into 4 different kinds which include acids, solvent, alkaline and detergent. They are either liquid or powder form. It would require to mix and dilute the chem in a pressurize spray for applying the solution liquid to the fan coils. A foaming reaction will be created when the pressurize chem solution contacts the surface of the fan coil. Which allows the stagnant bacteria and dirt to be rinsed away with water thereafter.

It comes slightly alkaline and it is a foam producing chemical that speeds up the cleaning proccedure. This method is usually used for grease and tar. It is also not effective for heavy particles found in the ac unit and it required rinsing.
It is recommended to perform a general clean for your ac units every 3 to 4 months to maintain a longer lifespan.
